Choose the Right Contact Replacement Schedule for You

Most people wear soft contact lenses. Today, almost all soft contact lenses are disposable. They are made to be worn for a certain number of days and then thrown away and replaced. The most common replacement schedules are daily, 2 weeks, and monthly.

Daily Disposable

Daily disposable contact lenses are the fastest-growing segment in the contact lens industry. Imagine having a clean, new lens to wear every day! You do not have to clean them, or store them, just throw them away each evening.

Many people think of daily contact as too expensive. Some of the brands are more expensive. But remember, even if the lenses are more expensive, you don’t have to buy any cleaning solutions. Most people spend more than $200.00 per year on solutions. So, even if the lenses themselves cost more, the total cost might not be as much more than you think. Daily disposables are a great choice for kids. Parents, you don’t have to worry about whether your child is taking proper care of the lenses. They wear a new pair every day.

These lenses are also great for part-time wearers, or those who travel. You don’t have to store lenses or wonder how old the lenses in your case are. Just wear them, and throw them out. And no worries about whether you can bring that bottle of multi-purpose solution on the plane. Don’t need it with daily disposable lenses!

2 Week Replacement
